Terry LaMar Notestine, age 61, of Bronson, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2018.
He was born Aug.16, 1956, in Sturgis, a son of the late Roy and Vera (Huss) Notestine.
Terry resided most of his life in the Sturgis and Bronson area. On July 27, 2001, he married Tina Rogers in Sturgis. She died April 14, 2015.
Terry was a skilled mechanic and had a passion for motorcycles. He enjoyed trains and watching war documentaries.
He is survived by a daughter, Amy Notestine of Coldwater; four sons, Brian Notestine of Florida, Tom (Lacy) Notestine of Quincy, Chad (Shawna) Notestine of Coldwater and Mike Notestine of Quincy; six grandchildren, Teia, Evin, Katelyn, Connor, George and Chloe; a brother, Larry Notestine of Bronson; a half-sister, Sherrie Losinski of Bronson; a half-brother, Danny Davis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his biological mother, Lamoine Davis; and a half-brother, Tommy Davis.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A gather of family and friends to honor and celebrate Terry’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Greenwald Park Hall in Bronson.
The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, is entrusted with the arrangements.
