Michael Eash, 62

Michael E. Eash, age 62, of Burr Oak, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, following a lengthy illness.
He was born March 29, 1955, at Sturgis Hospital, a son of John and Erma (Haarer) Eash.
Michael joined his father in the family business at Eash Quality Feeds. After several years of working at the feed mill, he was employed in the paper-cutting industry, where his last place of employment was Americraft Carton in Sturgis.
Michael attended Grace Christian Fellowship and was an active member there for many years. He enjoyed hockey, praise music, eating with friends and gardening. He loved raising potatoes to sell for the church’s missions in Uganda. Michael’s greatest love was Jesus.
Surviving are his mother, Erma Eash of Sturgis; a brother, David (Sylvia) Eash of Sturgis; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Eash; two brothers, Richard L. Eash and Lowell E. Eash; and a sister, Andrea S. (Eash) Yeager.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 12:30-2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at Grace Christian Fellowship, 300 Timothy Drive, Sturgis.
Services celebrating the life of Michael E. Eash will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Christian Fellowship.
Interment and graveside services will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations be directed to Uganda mission Farm through Grace Christian Fellowship. Envelopes are available at the church or Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis, which has been entrusted with arrangements.
