Pauline A. Oxender, 93, of Howe, Ind., died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Life Care Center of LaGrange, Ind.
She was born May 20, 1924, in White Pigeon, to Albert and Ester R. (Quick) Warren.
Pauline was a graduate of White Pigeon High School. She worked at Sealed Power from 1963 until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Kum-N-Kamp camping club.
On Aug. 14, 1948, she married Lester O. Oxender in Middlebury, Ind. He preceded her in death April 2, 2003.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Flint of LaGrange and Rachel Oxender of Goshen, Ind.; two sons, James Oxender of Howe and Stanley (Lois) Oxender of Conklin, Mich.; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a sister; Lois Perrin of Ashby, Minn.
Her parents and a brother, Leland Warren, preceded Pauline in death.
Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at the funeral home. The Rev. Carldean Merrifield will officiate. Burial will take place at Shore Cemetery in Shipshewana.
Memorials may be contributed to the LaGrange County Council on Aging.
