The 55th annual Mendon Dust-Off takes place Sunday with the usual impressive variety of old cars, muscle cars and other vintage vehicles. It starts at 7 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.
Three Rivers resident Arnold Alexander is a charter member of the event sponsor, Three Rivers Classic and Antique Restorers Club. He said Sunday’s show marks the 30-year anniversary of it being staged at Mendon High School after outgrowing Auggie Noe’s Constantine-area residence, where it got its start.
He said the show has changed a lot through the years, but the foundation of it has not.
There is no charge for participants.; spectators are asked to make a $3 donation. For an additional cost, Mendon Kiwanis members are staging a pancake breakfast in the high school cafeteria.
