Richard A. Miller, age 73, of Colon, passed away May 4, 2018, at his home after several months of failing health.
Richard was born July 26, 1944, in Kalamazoo, a son to the late Robert C. and Marguerite J. (Hughey) Miller.
He had lived most of his life in Colon, attending Colon Schools and had been employed for the past several years at Hemel’s Chevrolet in Colon.
He is survived by two sons Jeffery B. (Robin) Miller of Three Rivers and Timothy (Shirlee) Miller of Utah; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; special friend Dyitha Neydon of Colon; sister-in-law Shirley (Ralph) Parlin of Leonidas; niece Vicky (Ken) Kruszka of Sherwood; and nephew Mark (Tammy) Miller of Mendon.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry R. Miller.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Richard A. Miller will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 4 p.m. at the Colon Church of Christ, with Pastor Dave Porter officiating.
