A Colon Township woman was injured after she was involved in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday night in Mendon Township.
Sheriff’s deputies said a 34-year-old woman from Mendon was driving east on Prairie Corners Road at 9:05 p.m., when she attempted to turn left into a driveway in the 26000 block. The woman turned in the path of a westbound vehicle driven by the 44-year-old Colon Township woman, who attempted unsuccessfully to swerve in an effort to avoid her vehicle striking the first car.
She was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
