Janet Gail Clark, age 63, of Centreville, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009, at her home.
She was born in Detroit on April 10, 1946, a daughter of Thomas W. and Beulah M. (Drake) Brooks.
Janet graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1964. On June 21, 1964 she married Philip Clark in Three Rivers.
She was a member of New Beginnings Community Church in Sturgis.
Surviving are her husband, Philip O. Clark, of Centreville; grandson John Philip Clark Jr. of Sturgis; two sisters, Martha Romig-Miller of Three Rivers and Anita Burke of Sarasota, Fla.; two brothers, Jim Brooks of Three Rivers and Dan Brooks of Three Rivers; and her mother-in-law, Bernice Clark of Centreville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John P. Clark Sr.; a sister, Margaret “Carolyn” Brooks; and her father-in-law, William T. Clark.
Services were held Friday at the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville with Pastor Randy Evans officiating.
Interment was at the Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville.
