Centreville will accept credit card payments

The Centreville Village Council has agreed to accept credit and debit cards for payments to the village for water, sewer, taxes and other debts.

The “Point & Pay” program will be provided at no cost to the village, though card users will be charged a fee.

Clerk Rhea Schrader said that other municipalities have used the program, and Centreville residents have shown a strong response to the option.
