Betty Messner, 81, died at her home in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on July 6, 2009.
She was born Aug. 23, 1927 in Jones, Mich., a daughter of Roy and Ila Milliser.
A graduate of Constantine in 1945, she married Ramon Messner on June 29, 1946. In 1981, they moved to Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Known for her wonderful baking skills, she was a great support for the many activities, organizations and groups her family was involved with.
Survivors include sons Michael O. Messner and wife Kathy of Constantine, Tim R. Messner and wife Eilene of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Missie A. Liss and husband Jay of Port St. Lucie; grandchildren Corey Messner and wife Shawn of Okemos, Stacy Sheehan and husband Brent of Sturgis, Tyler and Taylor beckford of Port St. Lucie, Jeffey Liss of Port St. Lucie and two great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Collin Sheehan of Sturgis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ramon.
