Patricia Thompson, 93

Mrs. Patricia Lueen Thompson, age 93, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born on August 6th, 1925 in Centreville, the daughter of the late Charles Fred (Merna Lueen Rathburn) Niendorf. She graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1943 and attended Lansing Business University.

Pat’s first job was working as a telephone operator until moving to the 1st National Bank in Three Rivers. For many years she sold Avon until her husband Bob retired from teaching and coaching at Three Rivers High School. Pat married her high school sweetheart, Robert Leolin Thompson on February 26th, 1944 in Deming, New Mexico where Bob was stationed.

They were married for 74 wonderful years . She and Bob spent their entire married life living at Fisher Lake where they raised three children, Connie Lee Bradley, of Sierra Vista, AZ., Randi Lynn (Richard) East, of Three Rivers, and Mark Robert (Lisa), of Fisher Lake. Pat has eight grandchildren, Scott, Dawn, Jennifer, Jason, Jarrad, Ryan, Travis and Markelle; as well as seventeen great-grandchildren. Pat cherished her family and was a devoted wife and mother. Pat loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up.

A private service for Pat’s family will be held at Hohner Funeral Home in care of her arrangements.
