Matthew Mason, age 32 , passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in Goshen Hospital.
Matthew was born December 04, 1986 in Harbor City California the son of Thomas Mason and Linda (Woody) Mason.
Matthew loved the outdoors he was an accomplished snowboarder and water Skier, he enjoyed fishing, golf and baseball, but one of his favorite pastimes was rollerblading with his dog Maggie. He had a special love for the music of Dubstep. Matthew was a very smart and creative young man, he was a CAD architectural designer for Jayco. In his spare time he would design small self sufficient small homes.
Matthew is survived by his longtime girlfriend Melissa Beechy, parents; Thomas and Linda Mason of Goshen, sister Paige Mason of Dubai, brother Troy Mason of CA., Paternal Grandparents; Larry and Leah Mason of Marcellus, aunts; Sue (Darin) Gross of Oxford, MI, Robin (Larry) Leach of Schoolcraft, and Cherie (lee) Hounsell of Marshall, Uncles; Doug (Rui) Mason of Australia, and Joe Mason of Portage along with all of his cousins.
Matthew is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents; Lonnie and Gerry Woody.
The family would like to welcome friends for visitation on Wednesday March20, from 2pm to 4pm and again from 6pm to 8pm at Mater-Ralston Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday March 21 with visitation from 12 until service time at 2pm.
Memorial donations may be directed to Thomas Mason or Melissa Beechy to help offset expenses.
