Janet Boyce, 78

Janet Florence Boyce, age 78 of Three Rivers, died Thursday, July 4, 2019 at her home. She was born in Three Rivers on Sep. 9, 1940 and was the daughter of Edson Reed and Clara Mae (Jarratt) Reed. She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School receiving her GED in 1985. Janet was married to Donald O. Boyce on June 11, 1965 in Three Rivers. She worked at ARCO in Schoolcraft, and at Riverview Manor in Three Rivers. She and her husband, Donald restored and sold several homes in the Three Rivers area. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and was a patron of the Three Rivers Library.

Janet is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Boyce; three children, Arden Jarratt of Gloversville, NY, Linda (Daivd) Barnhardt of Three Rivers, and Donald Boyce, Jr. of Centreville; four grandchildren, Nicholas Barnhardt, Marcus Del Valle, Andrew Jarratt, and Melissa Jarratt; two great-grandchildren; brother, Carl (Marlene) Jarratt of New Orleans; sisters, Jewel Jarratt of Tucson, AZ, and Joyce Ward of Arkansas; sister in law, Lovista Jarratt of Tucson, AZ; and by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Duane, Donald, and Marvin Jarratt; and by two sisters, Leona and Betty.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted, and private family services have been held. It is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to the Three Rivers Public Library, 920 W. Michigan, Three Rivers, MI 49093.
