Jason Emmanuel Ingram, age 55, of Gainesville, FL passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2019. He was born in Chicago on January 27, 1964 the son of Benny Smith and Dorothy Ingram.
Jason enjoyed singing in Church and in various Gospel groups. He played Bass guitar, Lead guitar and Key Board as a hobby.
Left to cherish Jason’s loving memory are his mother, Dorothy Ingram; children: Monisha (Tiger) Jones, Bruce Ingram, Shai Tallman, Nathan Lickfeldt and Maya Ingram; siblings: Shirley Stewart (Kalamazoo); Rosette Ingram (Carrolton, TX); James (Annie) Ingram (Kalamazoo); Sharon Ingram (Battle Creek), Raymond Ingram (Marshall, MI) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at New Jerusalem Baptist church with services starting at 10:00 a.m. (Family Hour) and services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tony Bennett officiating. Interment will be held at Moorepark Cemetery following the service.
Memorial donations made in Jason’s memory may be directed to the family c/o James Ingram. Envelopes are available at the church and Hohner Funeral Home.
