Bree Kaitlin King, age 19, of Constantine, passed away after a long battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma cancer on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. Bree was born in Coldwater on February 17, 2000, a daughter of Don and Tina (Liles) King. She attended Constantine Public Schools, graduating in 2019.
Bree loved to go camping. She enjoyed sitting around the campfire and watching movies with her friends and family. Bree was talented at cross-stitch and was always showing her friends her latest work. Her favorite dogs were Zoe and Macy.
Surviving are her loving parents Don and Tina King of Constantine, brothers Zac King of Portage and Shane King of Constantine, grandma Myrna Liles of Three Rivers, Aunts and Uncles Tonya Stone and Rich McKay of Portage, Richard and Kathy Shipe of Sturgis, John and Karen Hess of Howe, Mike and Kris Schoiber of Colon, and Tom and Linda Thoms of Tekonsha; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Harril Liles and Don and Phyllis King.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A casual gathering of relatives and friends will take place on Thursday at 2 PM followed by a memorial service at 3 PM at Eley Funeral Home, Constantine. Pastor Bud Granger will officiate. Memorial contributions can be given in honor of Bree to the “Lawlor-CW Collaborative Research Award” for Pediatric Ewing’s Sarcoma Research.
