Three Rivers schools adjust homecoming schedule

Homecoming-related activities at Three Rivers Community Schools will take place Friday, as scheduled, but times have been adjusted for the school day, the parade and the game’s kickoff.

Superintendent Ron Moag said Friday will now be a half day. That means high school dismissal at 10:43 a.m., middle school release at 10:51 a.m., Andrews and Hoppin elementaries at 11:05 a.m., and Norton and Park elementaries at 11:25.

The homecoming parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. and the football game kickoff at 5 p.m.

The earlier-than-usual kickoff is the result of a recommendation from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and its precautions against the Eastern Equine Encephalitis in Southwest Michigan.
