Here’s the weekly update from Michigan Department of Transportation regarding the U.S. 131 reconstruction in Three Rivers.
Stage 3 traffic plan is in place and two-way traffic is operating on northbound U.S. 131 at M-60 junction toward the south end of the project, as well as northbound at the Hoffman Road/Rocky River bridge area at its north end.
Meanwhile, utility-relocation work is ongoing throughout the project.
Also, work at the Rocky River bridge is ongoing, while roadbuilding continues on the new southbound lane at the south end of the project.
MDOT officials said roadbuilding continues on M-60 west of U.S. 131.
Furthermore, Hoffman Street west remains closed until striping and concrete work are fully completed, while MDOT has abandoned ramps for M-60/U.S. 131. The interchange has been removed and the ground restored. Ground-restoration continues throughout the project.
