Dorothy (Packer-Clute) Kramb, age 95, died Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis. She was born in Ypsilanti on Feb. 5, 1925 the daughter of Irving Charles and Edna Pearl (Davis) Packer. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Ypsilanti. She was married to John W. Clute in 1950. He passed away in 1979. She was married to James F. Kramb in 1981. He passed away in 2003. While living in Jones, Dorothy worked for Continental Can Company and later the Fonda Group in Three Rivers. She was a member of the Three Rivers Hospital Auxiliary, and the Grandmother’s Club.
Dorothy is survived by son, Richard Clute of Centreville and daughter, Linda Nickell of San Diego; step-daughters, Jodie (Michael) McCarty of Ohio and Susan (Dale) Marten of Illinois; 5 Grandchildren, John (Julie) Clute, Pamela Clute, Stephanie Jensen, Ryonn Clute, Peter Clute; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Cook; brothers, Raymond and Robert Packer; and by a son, John Clute.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will be conducted. A memorial service will be held at a later date, with interment of ashes in Peek Cemetery. It is suggested that memorial donations be directed to the Three Rivers Health Auxiliary. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.efhchapel.com
