Armed robbery in Three Rivers

An armed robbery was reported Saturday night at about 9:30 at Northside Beverage, located at 135 North Main Street in Three Rivers. Police say the suspect entered the store while the clerk was in the back office. The suspect went behind the counter and grabbed alcohol and cigarettes, and emptied the cash register. As the clerk came from the back, the suspect was already headed out the door. The suspect brandished a black semi-automatic pistol when confronted by the clerk. The suspect is described as 6-foot-1, stocky build, blue eyes, and wearing a white bandana on his face. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, a blue t-shirt, blue pants, and black shoes.
