Six candidates will be interviewed later this month for the position of Constantine Public Schools superintendent.
Interim Superintendent John Jarpe said the six were chosen from a pool of about 20 applicants during closed session of the district’s board of education meeting Thursday. The meeting was conducted via remote teleconference.
Candidates being interviewed April 29 are: Scott Bojanich, director of instruction for Rockingham County Public Schools in Virginia and is a Constantine native; James Wisely, Constantine Middle School principal; and Jeff Terpening, superintendent of Capac Community Schools. Terpening spent eight years as Centreville High School’s head football coach and is a former marine patrol deputy for the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department.
Candidates interviewing April 30 are: Griff Mills, Tecumseh High School principal; Christopher Turner, director of technology at Brighton Area Schools; and Rohn Peterson, retired superintendent from the Roanoke-Benson school district in Illinois.
