Norah Lillian Willard, age 86, of Three Rivers, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 1, 2020 at her home. She was born in Detroit on Dec. 29, 1933 the daughter of Andrew and Lillian (Hughes) Smith. She graduated from McKenzie High School with the class of 1952. She was married to John B. Willard in Detroit on Jan. 2, 1954. Norah has resided near Three Rivers since 1968. She attended Glen Oaks Community College and was employed by the St. Joseph County Commission on Aging for 20 years. She attended both Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Three Rivers and St. Clare Catholic Church in Centreville.
Norah is survived by four daughters, Kathleen Metty of Centreville, Mary Willard of Lawton, Kelly (Roger) Jacobs of Marcellus, and Jennifer Bingaman of Three Rivers; seven grandchildren,
Sarah Royer, Ashley (Christopher) Heffner, Kerri (Patrick) Smith, Brittany Jacobs, Eathan Bingaman, Emmett (Elizabeth Gilbert) Bingaman, and Ean Bingaman; six great grandchildren, Lila, McKenzie, Wyatt, Riley, Luke, and Kalliope. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; sister, Theresa Yahner; brother, Robert Smith, and son, John Andrew Willard.
A private visitation and graveside services will be held at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Mendon with Msgr. Thomas Martin officiating.
