Three Rivers High School Principal Carrie Balk said plans for prom, graduation and other events for its senior class of 2020 are taking shape.
Balk, who provided an update to board of education members this week, said a graduation ceremony is planned for July 9 at the high school football field. If weather is an issue, Balk said a date in early August has been designated.
Students were to pick up their caps and gowns Wednesday and their diplomas will be available to pick up May 28, Balk said.
Regarding prom, Balk said if Gov. Whitmer’s restrictions allow, it will take place June 18 in Kalamazoo.
Balk added that Rotary Honors Night is a moving target and a plan is being worked out. A potential date of May 20 is being discussed.
