Margaret Ann Adams (Folkers), age 87, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Sturgis, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Fountains of Bronson Place in Kalamazoo. Margaret was born December 6, 1932 in Schoolcraft, the daughter of Calvin and Mildred (Curry) Bradford. On March 1, 1956, she was united in marriage to Richard Folkers, Jr., who preceded her in death on August 25, 2003. She was also preceded by her parents and three siblings.
Margaret was employed with The Upjohn Company for 30 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and loved cleaning and organizing, especially her own home. On December 21, 2014, she was united in marriage to Ronald J. Adams.
Family was a very important part of her life. Surviving are her husband Ronald Adams; her two children: Cindy & Bob Bucknell, Randy & Vicky Folkers; grandchildren: Derek & Wendy Bucknell, Darcy Bucknell, Alex Bucknell, Kevin Bucknell, Nathan Folkers, Tyler & Tina Folkers, Lindy & Zack Schaeffer; three great-grandchildren: Derek, Gavin, Lucas; a twin sister Marian Porter; nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held and burial will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. Memorials in Margaret’s memory may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
