Here’s Michigan Department of Transportation’s weekly update on the U.S. 131 reconstruction project in Three Rivers.
Stage 5 traffic pattern will continue, meaning all traffic is using a single lane in the southbound side of the highway.
Some utility relocation through the length of the project and roadbuilding in the northbound lane both are continuing.
MDOT officials said crews are scheduled to address intersection construction at Arnold Street and westbound Broadway Street. In addition, construction of the multi-use path will continue.
Also, electrical subcontractor crews will continue performing signal work at various locations throughout the project.
MDOT says access to all businesses will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
