Three Rivers cancels graduation ceremony

Three Rivers Community Schools officials decided this week to cancel the high school’s graduation ceremony.

Principal Carrie Balk said the district’s administrative team met Tuesday, and decided in the best interest and safety of graduates and their family members, the Aug. 6 ceremony will not take place.

Three Rivers High School had already twice postponed its graduation ceremony, which was most recently scheduled to take place July 9.

While members of the district’s class of 2020 have already received their diplomas, the district was adamant on holding an actual, in-person ceremony.

Balk reiterated the decision was made to ensure everyone’s safety.

  1. What a load of nauseating sewage. These kids have worked for 13 years for this one moment of glory, then get cheated out of it by a bunch of lying, anti American socialists who want to keep a sitting president from being re-elected.
