Here’s the weekly update from Michigan Department of Transportation regarding its reconstruction of U.S. 131 in Three Rivers.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, Coon Hollow Road was expected to reopen Saturday. Meanwhile, Broadway Road remains closed to eastbound traffic; motorists are asked to follow the posted detour route.
Also, Broadway Road construction moves to the north side this week, MDOT officials said.
Some utility-relocation work will remain ongoing throughout the length of the project.
MDOT notes that access will be maintained to businesses at all times.
And here’s a reminder that Kerr Creek access is closed, as cul-de-sac construction is finished and partially paved.
Paving of the multi-use path remains ongoing as schedules permit, and the project’s electrical subcontractor will be doing traffic-signal work at various locations.
Finally, new southbound U.S. 131 roadbuilding will continue this week.
