Christopher, also known as “Chris,” was special to so many. Even though Chris was a private and modest man, he never looked for praises and was never one to boast, he always went on quietly working for the ones he loved. His dreams were seldom spoken, his wants were very few and most of the time his worries went unspoken too. Chris was always there … a firm foundation through every storm life had for him. He always had a sturdy hand in times of stress and strife and most importantly was a loved man that we could count on good or bad. He will be a missed son, brother and friend to all of us. He also furthered his education while working at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in Kalamazoo. Another passion he had since childhood was music. Music was the center of his life. He played many instruments, but his favorite was the French horn. He played in his High School band and also for the Kalamazoo Symphony band following high school. Connecting with music became part of his soul.

Chris also had a very special person in his life that he found an unlasting bond for. Amanda Mancino was his girlfriend and the love of his life. They had an untouchable connection together. They both lived together for the past seven years with their two cats Max and Fits. Max being Chris’ sidekick. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Chris is survived by his mother and father Linda and Mike Evans from Three Rivers, Michigan. His two sisters Erica Evans from Edwardsburg, Michigan and Ashley Evans from White Pigeon, Michigan.
