Nancy Ruggles, 82

Nancy Joy (Mangold) Ruggles, born Sept. 10, 1938, passed away Dec. 31, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Richard “Dick” Ruggles; both parents and a brother, Phillip Mangold. She is survived by her brother, Chuck Mangold, all of her children Kim (Randy) Kelley, Doug (Jean) Ruggles, Stacy (Zeus) Ruggles, and Hope (Michael) Bailey with many grand, great, and great great grandchildren.

Nancy was a vibrant loving soul who liked to have a good time. She liked to play cards, dress up in red and purple and hang out with her Red Hat “gang.” Most of all she loved to hang out with friends and family while throwing back a few beers. If you were any part of her family; an in-law or even a friend of her family’s family, you were her family. She was a humanitarian and loved her birds; they would be so plump by Spring we wondered if they would be able to fly (she fed them well).

Nancy fought a long battle of cancer very courageously and it did not win. She died unexpectedly after a fall in her home. She was a “tough ole bird” who will be missed dearly by many. Services will be for immediate family with a gathering at a later date.
