Aydan Christopher Leis, age 14, of Shipshewana, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at his home.
He was born October 13, 2006 in Goshen, son of Robert and Tami (Moore) Leis.
Aydan was a lifelong resident of Shipshewana and a current eighth grade student at Westview Junior/Senior High School in Topeka, Indiana.
He attended Gracepoint Baptist Church in Sturgis and enjoyed watching YouTube and playing video games, especially on his Xbox.
He is survived by his parents; Robert and Tami Leis of Shipshewana; two sisters: Kaeleigh and Morgan Leis both at home; grandparents: Robert and Pamela Leis of Sturgis and Jim Moore of Brushy Prairie, Indiana; special longtime family friends: Robin, Ally, Taylor and Brodie Compton of White Pigeon and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the Gracepoint Baptist Church, 26268 US 12, Sturgis, MI 49091 where services celebrating the life of Aydan Leis will begin at 7:00 P.M. Monday. Pastor Gregory Long will officiate.
Memorial donations would be appreciated to the Hackman Family Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 9, Sturgis, MI 49091 who is entrusted with the arrangements.
