Colon’s annual Magic Get-Together planned

Abbott’s Magic Get-Together in Colon is planning a return in 2021, but event organizer Greg Bordner said things will be a bit different.

Bordner, president of Abbott’s Magic, said seating to the four nightly showcase presentations will be limited to 500 people, about half of the normal capacity.

In an effort to maintain the same group of attendees nightly, Bordner said tickets will be sold in four-packs only; there will be no individuals-show tickets. The four-pack of tickets are $300. He said ensuring the same people are in attendance nightly makes cleaning and sanitizing procedures easier to adhere to per Colon Community Schools’ policy.

This year’s roster of talent includes Lance Burton, Mac King, Jeff Hobson and Kevin James.

The Get-Together runs Aug. 4-7.
