A trio of seniors from Three Rivers High School was awarded $1,000 scholarships through Midwest Energy & Communications.
The scholarships were issued based on academic achievement, leadership and community involvement. They are also daughters of MEC customers.
Madelyn Adams has been active with the high school marching and symphony bands, choir and theater. She plans to study wildlife biology at Kalamazoo Valley.
Mikayla Copley has participated in soccer, cross-country, track and field, and many other school-related activities. She plans to study biology/pre-med at Notre Dame.
Illyanna Taylor has participated in volleyball, golf, basketball, soccer, track, and music and theater. She plans to study biomedical science and business management at Grand Valley.
