The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency said the three counties it
represents are close to the bottom in the state in terms of percentage of residents who have been
vaccinated. St. Joseph and Branch counties each surpassed 40 percent. For a matter of perspective,
71 of Michigan’s 83 counties have a higher vaccination rate.
As of Friday last week, 21,002 residents in St. Joseph County had received at least one
dose of a vaccine. In Branch County, the number was 14,941.
Agency officials said 43 people since March who have received their primary doses
tested positive in the figures provided May 27 to Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health
Agency. That is less than about one-tenth of a percent of those receiving vaccines and well
below the efficacy rate, officials said.
New cases are being reported daily, but that number is in the single digits and considered
low.

Replying to Craig, you are right, There is no leadership here. Red county and last in the state for vaccinations. Why? Screw the repugs.
