Bill Wagner, 46

William “Bill” Jesse Wagner, age 46, of Round Lake, IL and formerly of Three Rivers, passed away on January 23, 2020.

He was born March 30, 1973 in Kalamazoo the son of Robert and Kathleen (Anderson) Wagner.

Bill graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1991; he attended Glen Oaks Community College for a year before graduating from Western Michigan University.

While at Western, mutual friends introduced him to Kristine “Kristy” Wick. The couple married in 1999.

While in Three Rivers, Billy held many jobs including pizza delivery driver, gas station employee and janitor. After moving to Illinois, he worked as a photo specialist at Walgreens.

“Panda Bear” was a trivia whiz who enjoyed collecting coins, gems and Beanie Babies; writing poetry; and playing board games as well as card games such as Sheepshead and cribbage.

Remaining to cherish Billy’s memory are his wife, Kristy Wagner; parents; brother, Robbie Wagner of Round Lake, IL; aunts, Lorraine Anderson of Three Rivers and Karen (Ric) Bogerd of Grand Rapids; father-in-law, Thomas Wick of Northfield, IL; sister-in-law, Cynthia Wick (Rod Gomez) of Baltimore, MD; brother-in-law, Kevin Wick of Seattle, WA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Paulyne Wagner and Harold and Juanita Anderson; mother-in-law, Barbara Wick; grandparents-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Kristy Wagner. Envelopes are available at the funeral home in care of his arrangements.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers, with Pastor Derl Keefer officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
