Roman Hubbard-Penn

Roman Brooks Hubbard-Penn was born peacefully sleeping on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 and had already departed us spiritually in his mother’s womb. Roman was born to Johnathan Penn and Brooklyn Hubbard of Sturgis.
Roman spent his short life experiencing nothing but love and admiration. He enjoyed kicking his mom really hard after eating sour candy and doing somersaults when it was time to sleep. He was so proud of his kicks and flips that he showed them off to everyone watching as soon as mommy could feel them. Roman will be remembered for how much love a short, yet beautiful, life can receive and for how 25 weeks in one womb can impact the hearts of so many others forever.
Roman will be missed for a lifetime by his parents Johnathan Penn and Brooklyn Hubbard, his godparents Joseph Burkheimer and Dymond Hoath, a brother- Salem Penn, grandparents and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lonnie David Penn.
Family and friends will gather at 11am on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007 for a viewing and an open service to follow at 12:00 pm. Roman’s parents encourage those who feel led to prepare any words they would like to say publicly in remembrance of and to honor Roman.
