Pamela Sue Hudson, age 73, a lifelong Sturgis resident, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 at Sturgis Hospital.
She was born June 20, 1948 in Sturgis, a daughter to the late Spencer and Elizabeth (Pickels) Butz.
Pamela had worked for various factories in the area including Paramount, Mastercraft, and Viking.
She enjoyed crocheting and traveling.
Surviving are 4 children: Paul (Peggy) Suits of Irons, MI, Bryan (Jody) Suits of White Hall, Jennifer Suits of Jacksonville, NC, and Lisa Hudson of Three Rivers; 7 grandchildren: Angela Lytle of Ludington, Erin Garrett of Manistee, Mikayla, Mikenna, and Mikeira Suits all of White Hall, Lane Suits of Montague, and Kamron Newsbaum of Jacksonville, NC. 2 great-grandchildren: Myles Suits and Taliah Mary Shepherd Newsbaum; 2 sisters: Ann Humphries of Sturgis, and Vicky (Jim) Carpenter of Bronson; 2 brothers: Spencer George Butz of Sturgis, and Frank Leonard Butz of Colon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson: Christopher Fauble, one brother: Stephan Mark Butz Sr.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Private burial will take place at a later date in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Kidney Foundation, envelopes are available at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
