William W. McBride, Jr., age 79, of Klinger Lake, Sturgis, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born December 18, 1942 in Chicago, son of the late William W. and Mary Alice McBride.
Bill graduated from Morgan Park High School in Chicago and furthered his education at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and earned a Master’s Degree at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
He was a teacher and Vocational Placement Coordinator at Kalamazoo Public Schools.
Bill was a member of the Antique Boat Motor Club and enjoyed antique automobiles.
He is survived by his wife: Marjorie Louise; son: Steve McBride of White Pigeon; granddaughters: Andrea and Holly McBride; great grandchildren: Karson and Kamden; brothers: Charlie (Debbie) McBride of Klinger Lake and Jim (Chris) McBride of Prior Lake, Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter: Lynn Louise McBride.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
