Debborah J. DeMeyer, age 66, of Mottville Township, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, surrounded by her family at home. She was born February 16, 1955 in Flint, a daughter of Franklin and Elvera (Larson) Suber. Deb graduated from Holly High School in 1974. On June 28, 1989 she married Wally DeMeyer, Jr. in Constantine.
Deb dedicated her life to being a caring and loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved horses and was very active in the St. Joseph County Mounted Division Ladies Association and the St. Joseph County Horseman’s Association. Deb and Wally own an operate the Square D Arena and the Great Lakes Cowboy Association.
Surviving Deb are her husband Wally DeMeyer, Jr., White Pigeon; daughter Taylor Rodman, Three Rivers; siblings Dorotha Pfalert, Metamora, MI, Dean Suber, Sebewaing, MI, and Darrell Suber, Holly, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorreen Riddle and brothers Dennis Suber and Doug Suber.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine. Memorial services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Maria Rutland officiating. Masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Messiah Lutheran church.
