Faith Shears, 77

Faith Marie Shears, age 77, of Centreville, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born on February 3, 1944, in Lima OH, the daughter of late Fred & Ida Alice (Fetter) Prichard.

Faith married Arthur Shears of Centreville on June 9, 1967. They would have celebrated 55 years together this year.
Faith dedicated her life as a home maker. She enjoyed wallpapering, painting and re-decorating. Her hobbies included her flower beds, tending to her yard, the outdoors, love for ALL animals, and her grandchildren with golf-cart excursions. In her younger years, Faith farmed part-time, providing her the opportunity to drive her 806 Tractor and enjoy the sun.
Faith is survived by her husband, Arthur E. Shears, Centreville, son Trampis (Jody) Shears, Centreville, daughter, Tabitha (Gary) Wedge, Centreville, Patches (Derek) Cloud, Sturgis. Siblings: Annabelle (John) Rumer, Harrod, OH, Phillip (Patricia) Prichard, Centreville, Wayne (Linda) Prichard-Burlington, Linda (Ned) Workman-Cheboygan, William (Patricia) Prichard, Centreville, sister-in-laws: Gretchen Prichard, Lima OH and Pamela Prichard, Reed City, Grandchildren: Jonathan Wedge, Shaina (Travis) Swartz, Travis Shears, Callie (Paul) Kruggel, Antoniya (Dakota) Neff, Dayle and Morgan Shears, and four great-grandchildren: Alexa, Addison, Evelyn and Carter Swartz.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Travis Shears, her parents, Fred and Ida Alice (Fetter), and brothers, David and Donald Prichard.
Per her request cremation will take place with no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for family and friends in the spring.
