A rehabilitation of restrooms on the main floor at Sturges-Young Center for the Arts was recently completed.
The renovation project was part of the second phase of the auditorium’s “Road to Restoration.” The first phase involved renovating the lobby and ballroom. Sheila Bolda, executive director, said with the restrooms project complete, the focus will turn to the second part of phase two: projection and audio upgrades in the auditorium and ballroom.
Frederick Construction of Vicksburg completed the restroom project over the course of a two-month period.
Improvements include touch-free flushing, sinks and soap, as well as the addition of touch-free paper towel dispensers.
Upgrades were to the men’s, women’s and unisex restrooms on the main floor.
