The Mendon School Board took action on two items last week.
The calendar for the 2022-2023 school year was approved. School will begin with a half-day Aug. 22, and the final day is scheduled for June 2, barring any make-up days as a result of weather-related cancellations.
Also, the board gave superintendent Leasa Griffith a rating of highly effective for the 2021-22 school year, thanking her for her efforts and dedication to Mendon Schools.
Griffith is in her fourth year as Mendon’s superintendent.
