Cecil Paul Haines, age 88, of Three Rivers passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born in Cassopolis on January 15, 1934 the son of Paul J. and Mildred (Patterson) Haines.
Cecil was employed for the U.S. Postal Service as a Postal Carrier for thirty-five years until his retirement.
He was a member of Dowagiac Masonic Lodge for many years. Cecil was also an avid bowler, fisherman, and always enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in passing by his parents; daughter, Michelle Huff; son, Dean Haines; and best friend, Dean Hoekenson.
Surviving to cherish his memory is daughter, Kathi Allen; sons, Cecil Jr Haines, Mike (Mary Trickett) Haines, Bart (Pam) Haines, and Chuck Haines; sister-in-law, Jean Leclighter; brothers, Roger (Darlene) Haines and Richard “Tree” Haines; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; great friends, Rich Mulligan and Pat Tavernier.
In accordance with family wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at Three Rivers Eagles #2303 at a later date.
