Crash injures Cassopolis man

A Cassopolis man was injured earlier this week in a single-vehicle crash in Cass County’s LaGrange Township.

Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies responded at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday to a crash scene on M-62 near Beeson Street.

Investigators said a vehicle driven by Mark Martin, 40, was traveling north on M-62 when he lost control of his vehicle going around the curve. Martin was unable to gain control of his vehicle, which left the roadway and struck a tree. The collision caused his vehicle to overturn.

Martin was transported by Pride Care Ambulance to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
