Michigan coronavirus cases down

Michigan reported more than 18,400 new cases of coronavirus in the week ending June 12, down 5.5 percent from the previous week.

St. Joseph County reported 46 cases and no deaths in the latest weekly analysis. A week earlier, it had reported 33 cases and zero deaths.

Cases fell in 52 Michigan counties, with the steepest declines in Macomb, Clinton and Oakland counties.

The worst weekly outbreaks on a per-person basis were in Washtenaw, Schoolcraft and Mackinac counties.
