Lion statues stolen in Mendon Township

Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a larceny of two lion statues from a location in Mendon Township.

Investigators said the incident occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday from outside a residence in the 22000 block of Springer Road.

The lions are identical, outdoor decorations and were set in the yard, near the victim’s driveway.
