Kirk Allan Hay, age 67, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday morning, August 31, 2022 at the Sturgis Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born August 18, 1955 in Three Rivers, son of Roland and Lois (Kussmaul) Hay.
Kirk resided in Sturgis for the past 38 years coming from Burr Oak.
On December 5, 1992 he married Reva Rice in Sturgis. She preceded him in death October 21, 2008.
He had been employed as a truck driver, security guard and by several area manufacturing companies.
Kirk loved bowling, playing golf and watching NASCAR.
He is survived by one daughter: Kari (Rodney) Guilliam of LaGrange; two grandsons: Lucas and Logan Begly; mother: Lois Plonkey of Sturgis; two brothers: Phillip (Mona) Hay of Topeka, Indiana and Rex (Sheila) Summey of Sturgis and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Reva and sister: Gladys Riggs.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
