Glen Oaks updates strategic plan

Glen Oaks Community College’s Board of Trustees recently approved an updated strategic plan that extends into 2025.

Tammy Russell, executive director of institutional planning, assessment and research, proposed the recommended changes during the focus topic portion of the board’s September meeting.

She said a number of objectives have been met, including a few where it especially made sense were combined. Some new objectives include establishing pathways for all programs of study and achieving the use of a retention software program for use by faculty to identify students who are struggling.
