Marjorie Ann Fair, age 90, of Bronson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Drews Place in Coldwater.
On October 10, 1932, Marjorie was born in Matteson Township, a daughter to the late Lindley and Mabel (Westendorf) Croy.
Marjorie graduated from Colon High School with the class of 1950.
On August 25, 1951, Marjorie married her husband of 71 Years, Arland M. Fair in Colon.
Marjorie and Arland lived their entire lives in the Sherwood and Bronson areas. They’ve lived at their current home on Gilead Lake since 2001.
Marjorie’s love of music brought her to teach piano for more than 20 years. She loved to knit, crochet, garden and read. She most especially loved her family and friends above all, was known for giving good advice.
Surviving Marjorie is her husband Arland M. Fair of Bronson, 2 children: Julie (Charles) Outlaw of Sherwood, and Vickie (Dean) Losinski of Sherwood, and “Third Daughter” Mary Loudenslager of White Pigeon.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents.
The Fair family will receive friends and relatives from 4 to 6 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD in Colon. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11 AM also at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD with Pastor David Elmore officiating. A private comital service will take place following lunch at the Colon Methodist Church, in Matteson Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be directed to the Colon Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
