Charles L Stoddard, age 92, of White Pigeon, died on Monday, October 24, 2022, following an extended illness.
He was born on February 12, 1930 in Park Township, Michigan the Son of William L and Ruth (Burr) Stoddard.
Resident of White Pigeon since 2014 coming from Sidnaw, Michigan.
He was a farmer for fifty years, also employed as a machinist for Kauffman Products in Elkhart, Elkhart Brass, Fairbanks-Morse in Three Rivers, and White Pigeon Schools as a bus driver. He enjoyed being a bus driver and loved the children, he also enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada, hunting, mushroom hunting. member of the American Legion, Michigan Trappers Association, Michigan Irrigation Association. He was a Veteran of the US Navy 1949 to 1954. Graduate of Three Rivers High School in 1948.
Survived by his Sisters Ruthie (Richard) Busz, and Bonnie Nottoli. Several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded by His Parents, Sisters Jean Longacre, Mary Hath, and Milly Weinberg, and Brother William Stoddard.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where Services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, October 29, 2022, with Pastor Bob Vale of The First United Methodist Church in Middlebury officiating. Interment in White Pigeon Township Cemetery. Donations may be directed to the White Pigeon School Athletic Department.
