Byron Wayne Moser of Vicksburg, age 66, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022 at his home. He was born in Long Beach, California on August 30, 1956, the son of Lee Roy and Betty Lou (Craft) Moser. He graduated from Magnolia High School in Anaheim, and he earned his Associate’s Degree in Electronics at Fullerton Community College. He was married to Bonnie Ann Klein on August 3, 1985 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon. They lived in California, where they established Moser Fire Systems, a family business that specialized in designing and installing fire sprinkler systems. Byron and Bonnie, along with their four daughters, moved to Vicksburg 1999, where they continued to operate the business. Byron shared his love of music with his family by playing the guitar and piano and writing his own original music. He was co-founder of the Bad Wolf Theater Company, a family-owned youth theatre company run by himself, his wife, and his daughters. Byron is remembered for his kind heart, compassion for others, work ethic, fun sense of humor, and love for his family.
Byron is survived by his wife, Bonnie; four daughters and their partners, Rochelle (Diana) Moser of Laguna Beach, CA, Leeza (Adam Anderson) Moser of Chicago, Zoie (Sean Wills) Moser of Hermosa Beach, CA, and Sage (Noah Zazula) Moser of Vicksburg; two sisters, Donna Hamm and Debra (Jim) Hamann; many in-laws and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Betty Moser; a sister, Lynne Moser; a brother, Roy Moser; brother-in-law, Bill Hamm; and by his mother and father-in-law, Henrietta and Vincent Klein.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation had been conducted. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon with Msgr.
