John Charles Feller, 62, of Cantonment, FL, formerly of Sturgis, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2021.
John was born on October 29, 1959 in Sturgis to Charles E. and Christine D. (Herman) Feller.
He graduated from Sturgis High School in 1977 and from Trine University in 1981.
John loved photography, motorcycles, race cars, and woodworking.
In addition to running his own computer programming business, John was active in his community and was a member of: the Establishment social club in Pensacola; the Krewe of Priscus (a Pensacola community service club); and member and past-president of the Five Flags Sertoma Club of Pensacola.
John was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Feller, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Christine D. Feller; his sisters, Polly Lindsay of Sturgis; Teresa Johansen of Bloomington, IL; Barbara Doane of Bristol, IN; and Angela (Ron) Anger of Spring Lake, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. John is also survived by his beloved Doberman Pinscher, Maximus.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a private committal service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. Deacon Lawrence Kasuboski of Holy Angels Church of Sturgis will officiate.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is assisting the family with local arrangements.
