Fundraiser for Linsey Wolff

Organizers of Centreville’s annual Christmas parade and celebration are appealing to the public for help raising funds to benefit a local elementary school teacher.

Centreville’s Hometown Christmas Committee, its Covered Bridge Days Committee and its Downtown Development Authority are teaming up to organize a raffle to aid Centreville Elementary third-grade teacher Linsey Wolff.

Wolff last month was diagnosed with breast cancer and started treatment last week.

Raffle organizers are asking the public to contribute items for the raffle. Suggestions include gift cards, new items and anything that might help raise funds.

All proceeds will be turned over to the Wolff family to aid them through a tough time ahead. Wolff is the daughter of Craig and Sandy Brueck.

All donations can be dropped off at the new village office, 109 E. Main St.

The raffle and parade will be on Dec. 9th.
